The Chair recruits a promotion of 15 to 17 students, selected by the application and the interview in front of a jury composed of one or more members of the teaching team, a business partner and /or graduate-ESSEC Chair.
Only students of MSc- ESSEC "Grande Ecole" (in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th year), ESSEC BBA (final year) or ESSEC Specialized Master's can apply to the chair.

ESSEC's International Observatory of Sports Consumption (IOSC) celebrated its first anniversary with the publication of its first results in L'Equipe - the French sport newspaper.
In addition, our Observatory’s work was published in La Tribune, Nouvel Obs Plus and CapCampus. Radio France Inter also mentioned our researches.
ESSEC's IOSC measures and analyzes the impact of sports in the audiovisual media on sporting activities development The main purpose is to help sports stakeholders increase the number of people regularly practicing sport and to contribute to fight sedentary behaviors.
New Chair program - fully in English!
The International Sports Marketing Chair is pleased to inform about the launch of the new Chair program, which will be fully in English!
The Chair is currently recruiting the 14th promotion. The recruitment process is in French, but for the 15th promotion, the application form and the interview, will be in English.
Launch of the international observatory of sports consumption (October 2013)
· To recurrently observe and analyze the evolution of sports consumption and highlight sports diversity and new practice trends;
· To understand the interactions between the media and sport practices and evaluate the impact of the media on sport practices evolution;
· To contribute to the fight against sedentary behavior and obesity and encourage sport activity diversity.

The teaching activities of the Chair will start on January 6th 2014, a few days before a weekend of sports and work in Clairefontaine (home of the French National football team). The Chair is also proud to announce the date of its seminars in Switzerland and London, two key moments of the learning process.

Sports marketing is a booming industry. Specific skills as well as experience are needed to make a success in this competitive and constantly evolving sector. As an optional program of ESSEC “Grande école”, the International Sports Marketing Chair offers a training fitted to these needs.
The Chair has three motto: “Learning by doing”, “Nothing is more useful than a good theory” and "An efficient manager is much more than a brilliant mind".
The Chair offers class lessons, seminaries, conference sessions and case studies authorized by our partner companies or big sport institutions as Adidas, Havas Sports & Entertainement, Heineken, the IOC, the UEFA and the United Nations (Sport for Development and Peace).
Thus, this program allows the students to work with privileged interlocutors.
This program is also recognized by the international press.
